Terms & Conditions: FAQ

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The fees for the session is to be paid in full prior to the session and will be refunded in full if 48 hours notice is given.

  • As I would have reserved an appointment time for you, any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice or no show will be charged at 50% of the full session fees.

  • If you are late for your appointment, unfortunately, the session will still have to end at the scheduled time as I would have scheduled other clients after your slot.

CLIENT SATISFACTION

  • Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process in which the client and therapist work together as a team on achieving the desired changes, using a range of evidence based interventions. The number of sessions it takes varies depending on the problems and the individual.

  • As with all therapeutic or medical interventions, success cannot be guaranteed and no refunds are given, as progress depends in part upon the motivation and active participation of the client. Such as, the client wants to bring about change and is willing to undertake the completion of 'homeworks' in between the sessions which facilitates positive changes sooner.

  • Depending on the issue, hypnotherapy and other techniques that I use may not be the best option and so the client will be advised on an alternative, more appropriate treatment.

  • Please note that Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and other techniques that I use are not an alternative to psychiatric or medical treatment. Therefore, if you have any doubts then please speak to your GP or mental health adviser before booking a session.

  • I am not a doctor and therefore do not diagnose or treat any medical conditions.

  • I do not treat anyone under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substance.

  • Please do not change or stop any medications without consulting your GP.

  • Sessions will take place in absolute confidence. Relevant background information will be gathered to assist with therapy and so it is important that information given is as accurate as possible.
