Neuroplasticity refers to the ability of the brain to generate and integrate new neurons (brain cells) and remodel pre existing neural circuits throughout life. Everything we think, feel and experience have the ability to mould the very circuits they travel along. In other words, when we repeatedly focus on certain thoughts or perform certain behaviours, new synapses are formed and the existing synapses in particular brain circuits become well connected. As the wiring gets strengthened the thought or the behaviour becomes ingrained and thus a habit gets wired in. However, here is the good thing: these habits are not hardwired but are soft wired. If you practice and repeat a new behaviour or thought then a new positive habit can be developed.
So if the brain is constantly changing then why not take control and create brain architecture to your own specifications.
